Stocking Ideas for my new 38 gallon aquarium :D

Hey everyone,

As you know from my other thread i got a new 38 gallon aquarium for Christmas it is currently cyc,ing so no fish currently. I need some stocking ideas. I know for sure that i will transfer my albino cory and get him a few buddies. And i MIGHT transfer my adult black mollies into the tank. I think i will just get rid of them. So the only real stocking list i have right now is a few cories. I want to have a nice school of tetra or danio or any nice schooling fish that isnt a bottom dweller. And i want to have atleast one type of live bearer since i like to breed fish. I would rather guppies or platy or endlers for my livebearers. And i want a BN or clown pleco. Sooooo. thats what i got for ideas. Any stocking suggestion?

Harloquin Rasboras - I am a huge fan of those fish!

As far as livebearers Black Swordtails are nice looking fish.

Ultimately it's up to YOU what goes in the tank. I like the idea of Endlers but it wouldn't be my first choice. If it were me I'd go with more of a SA setup since that's my favorite biotype as far as fish and plants.

I'd go with a pair of GBR's, a trio of apistos, 1 ABN pleco, 5 sterbai cories, 15 cardinals or neons or black neons, 7 hatchetfish, 5 ottos, and possibly another school of something like gold neons or rummynose.

I like that list thanks. How about:

a pair of GBR's
1 ABN pleco
5 albino cories
7 cardinals or neons or black neons
7 H. Rasboras
5 ottos
3 kuhili loaches
9 red eye tetra
3 endlers

Would that be ok?

Looks fine to me. I'd add more than 3 Endlers. Maybe go with 2 males and 4-5 females.

or is it ok to get 3 guppies instead of the endlers? Just because it would save me alot of trouble since endlers arent at my lfs.
