I will be getting 2 bags of planted tank substrate, either eco-complete or fluorite... It doesn't really matter though. Either way I will still have 30 lbs of substrate.
Will this be enough substate for aqueon 36 gallon tank? It's 30 inches long and the the farthest it comes out is 15 inches.
How do I use a gravel vacumm on this sub? I hover it above it, or clean it like gravel.
If that's not enough substrate, I will go to Home Depot and buy 50 lbs of playsand or pool filter sand... Which is better?
