I recently bought a 60 gallon acrylic tank that came with 2 Magnum 350 canister filters. I want to use the 2 in my fresh water setup. I was wonder if i use one as a regular filter. and the second one would connect to the dual biowheels that were also included. Is that over kill to connect the output directly to the bio wheels.

I will let someone with more filtration knowledge answer this.

The magnum output would definately not be overkill. The marineland powerhead that was designed to run the bio-wheel pumps 350 gph, the same force as the magnum. You shouldn't have any problems.
