I will soon be getting a 29g tank and will be setting it up as a planted, community tank. These are the fish I was planning on adding in. This is my first community tank and I'm still learning about compatibly and such so I just wanted to get some other thoughts on this stocking:

- 8 Julii Corys

- 2 Bolivian Rams (1m 1f or 2m or 2f?)

- 1 Dwarf Gourami

- 12 Cardinal Tetras

Temp will be set at 78F.

Thank for your input.

Please please use Aqadvisor it will help with you stock.

What kind of plants are you getting? What kind of light, CO2 or not, and ferts?

How are you going to cycle your tank before putting the fish in?

It will just be low tech, low light plants. As for the filtration i was planning on getting an Aquaclear 50.

First off, they won't be Corydoras julii.
Stores rarely ever sell true C julii.
They will be C trilineatus aka 3 Lined Cories. Very nice, hardier than C julii.

Everybody mislabels them [emoji51]

Rams may get territorial with Cories, lots of plants and some wood and caves can help them get along AFAIK
