Temprature Fluctuation

Hi, I'm new to keeping tropical fish - always had cold water. Just a query regarding temperature drops and rises, I have a brand new Eheim Jäger 100w heater vertically as recommended in my 60l tank with the outlet flow hitting it directly, flow coming from an Eheim Ecco Pro. The dial is set at 25, but I'm noticing via the digital thermometer the temp goes to 25, then drops out to 24.1 for a few minutes then rises again, is this normal or should it be a constant 25. Any replies would be appreciated, thanks.

A small 60l is going to be affected by room temp and things like air vents and fans. Do you have a lid on you tank? Maybe play with where your heater is and intake and return are to see if that will help with your temp flux.

Thanks Mark, I'll give it shot - I have a lid on it, which limits me to where I can put the outtake pipe but I'll try rotating it a bit.
