I'm doing a 50% pwc now-hands free!! That new water changer is so nice. I hope the water change helps.

I know that when you use heat, the ick gets worse temporarily, but when should I start to see spots starting to go away? It was a little worse today, I'm not being impatient or anything, just wondering what to expect in the next few days. Possible snow day tomorrow-so I'll be home all day and I'll see what the deal is by watching their behavior alot

The amount of time before it looks to getting better varies, sometimes it a day, sometimes people have to wait more like a week. It all depends. How many days have you had the temp been raised to 86?

Its been about three days

When I was refilling the tank, the fish were swimming in all the bubbles made by the incoming chlorine water. Is this bad for them? I dosed for 80 gallons before filling up, but still.

Mine were doing the same exact thing!! That thing was the best 28 bucks I ever spent. But I'm still learning how to use it. When I was refilling I didn't open the end tube before I turned the sink on and the pressure blew the hose off a little and it was misting like crazy! Everything was soaked cieling to floor lol, fun times.

I usually don'topen the tube until im back at the tank but when i do open the valve it sounds like a massive potato gun went off! I agree that it was one of the best investments that i've made.

I just thought of something. I move the kerris temporarily I to the 10 g and treat with heat and salt. Then leave them there until the rummies are treated. Stupid idea?

I know I'd be dealing with 2 ick tanks, but since everyone seems to be dying in the 60, I'd rather have the rummies die than the kerris.
