Sorry if this has already been asked, but I’m not finding any good answers for my situation…
I am using RO/DI water for my freshwater tropical tank, with no plants. I’m using RO/DI water because my tap water has unusually high nitrites, making it very difficult to maintain ideal conditions. Currently, I’m treated the RO/DI water with Seachem Replenish, and nothing else (I used to use Prime with my tap water but I figure I don’t need that with RO/DI water). Do I need to be adding something else as well for pH? Do I need to worry about KH or GH? I don’t have tests for those….any help is appreciated!
