Hi everyone!

I have a question: I had to do a complete waterchange on my 10gal and now have to get it cycled. Is it save to put a betta in there right away, because that way I could quarantine the others in the betta-tank.

How long had the tank been set up prior to the complete water change? Did you throw away the media from the filter?

if you kept the filter media, and didnt rinse it off then i thnk it should be fine

yeah, I saved the filter, had it set up for 3 months

If the filter media stayed wet (and you didnt change it when you refilled the tank) then its still cycled. Bacteria live in the filter media and substrate for the most part, not so much the water.
