What started as a plan to rescape my 46 bowfront has turned into upgrading to a 55 gallon! I know it's not THAT much bigger but I can change what I don't like :)
Picked up this tank, stand and hood for $80

The stand and hood need some work. Sadly the wood smells like the garage it was stored in. Hinges will be replaced but I haven't decided if I should sand and stain or just paint black or white.

I currently run a canister filter on my 46 but I haven't decided on what to run on the 55. Any suggestions??

I have an odd stock in my 46. I'd like to change it around some...suggestions are welcome!

2 female Mollys ( they are happy without a male)
1 guppy ( he was the only survivor in my tank crash)
2 yellow tail rainbows
2 dwarf gourami
1 muppy (guppy molly cross)
2 otos
3 angels
1 mystery snail
1 zebra snail
2 black kuhli loaches

Are you moving all these fish into the 55 gallon? I wouldn't I would split them up personally. I would do something in the 55 like

3- Angels
6- Yellow Tail Rainbows
5- Black Kuhli Loaches
6- of some type of tetra
1- BN Pleco

Then keep the rest in the 46 gallon and add maybe 2 schools of tetras and a group of like 6 Cory Cats
