I have a recently set up 10 gallon tank. about 3 weeks old. It has one goldfish in. Its been in about 5 days. When would be the best time to do a 10 percent water change? The shop told me every week but they also told me I could put a fish in a cloudy tank and hey ho it died. So levels are all normal except ammonia is just between 0 and 0.25...worried incase I stress the fish out with doing a part change too soon.
Any advice would be grateful. Thanks:n00b:

Water changes will not stress the fish. You should do weekly water changes of at least 50% not 10. Also keep an eye on your ammonia and nitrite to keep to as close to 0 as possible.
