Per my previously posts, I have been in the middle of cycling my tank and unfortunately seemed to have picked up some type of infection or parasite, as all my fish developed gill rot or fungus and died.

Since I have no fish left I've decided to take there advice and do a re start, and perform a 100% water change then re start the cycle with no chemicals or medications.

Question: after I finish the 100% water change do you have any recommendations that may help ensure I get rid of the infection or whatever was causing my bad water? Should I boil everything to make sure any parasites are killed since I'm restarting my cycle anyway? Or leave everything out of water for a few days?

If there's nothing else in your tank and since you're planning on removing all of the water anyway, I would just go ahead and scrub the tank down just to be on the safe side.
