I have a 60L tank . How powerful does it need to be ? Is it the more powerful the better or not ? Thanks for your help . X

Yer it will hold the temp for you so it doesn't drop or keep going up

Thanks guys . It's just looking on eBay the price difference between a 100 watt or up to a 250 watt is only 20 pence that's all . What do you think ? X

Just get the 100 watt one 250 watt it too much for what you need so just look for one that is 100 watt

Hello Rich...

If you figure 5 watts for every gallon of tank volume, you'll be fine. You'll get a heater that's a bit larger than needed, but the plus is the heater doesn't have to work as hard to maintain a set temperature.

For your 60L, a 75 watt heater is fine. Marineland has a good product.
