What's on my sand?

Everyday more and more of this stuff appears. I don't know what it is? I keep vacuuming it up but it keeps pooling. Is it going to be bad for my fish? There's none in there

It's also on the rocks and what not too

It looks like diatoms. Or brown algae. They are very common in new set ups. They are self limiting and will be gone soon when the silicates they use as food are all used up.

What sand are you using? It looks like a really nice colour

I bought some live sand when I set it up for freshwater it went perfectly so far
