1 more Q about my new fish

I need to use (partially) water from my main for the qt. My main has been fallow for 2 weeks for an ich treatment. Should I just go ahead and treat the new Tang with hypo to be safe? The hypo seems to be tolerated very nicly be my other fish. I don't see any point in waiting myself.
The water from my main can't be much worse than the LFS.
Or should I just change out the qt tank to fresh mix.
What would you do?

If you use water from the main tank for the qt, you'll have to treat it like thefish were sick, or you could extend the qt by a few more weeks.

Thanks for the input Reefrunner. Thats what I thought.
I battled back and forth on if I should make this purchase right now and initially thought no.
But the more I thought about it, I seems like the perfect time. My current fish are in qt and doing just fine. The time period is right for a proper qt of the new fish and I could introduce the fish in the proper sequence to hopefully limit aggression.
My only concern is the sailfin and Yellow getting along.
Any major holes in my thinking?
