We have to start with some data. Sounds like things are out of wack here.
Tank size
Temp and temperature stability
Salinity
Phosphate. Ammonia.
Ph
Nitrogen levels (nitrate)
Do you use RO/DI water

Obviously add no more live stock. Puffers can be hard to keep in perfect systems.

Take a deep breath and use this experience to learn. Don't just buy live stock that you want, buy live stock that you can keep healthy long term. As you are finding, it can be a true letdown when things don't just work out of the box. We all have been thru this.

Not meaning to sound crass, but when asked what your levels are, we're looking for actual numbers, not "they are correct"...... if you want assistance, that response tells us nothing. Are you doing your own testing, or is the local fish store telling you "they're fine"???

You say you have a 50 liter nano? As in 13 gallons? And by yellow box puffer, are you meaning a yellow boxfish... one of these?

Saltwater Aquarium Fish for Marine Aquariums: Cubicus Boxfish

If so, please read that information sheet VERY carefully...... If that's what you've got, you need to get it out of there.... ASAP!! That could be the cause of your problems!!

Beengirl's asking if you have any powerheads (PH's) agitating your water's surface.

Surface agitation with powerheads or filter returns, anything like that? Surface agitation causing ripples on the top of the water helps to aerate the water and increases oxygen levels in the water.
