adding new fish during copper treatment

I was just wondering if I could add a fish to my qt while treating others for ick? My current fish haven't had any spots for over a week and are eating and acting normal. Will it stress them out if I added a new fish to them and quarantine them all at the same time. I know alot of people qt all there new fish with copper. Am I asking for trouble???

I would not do it either. Your fish are already at stress level and the addition of new fish will stress them even further.
