anemone being picked on?

Anyone ever had an an anemone get picked on? My bubble tip was doing really good (probably grew 30% in a month) and getting his color back. I have a 1 inch long maroon clown that adores him, then I added a 1.25 inch Singapore Angel (I do know now they get big, they told me 4 inches when I got him and I'm already cruising the papers for a 75) But I sometimes see the angel bite at the anemone, and ever since the angel was put in the anemone has been all shrunken up most of the time. So yesterday I put the anemone in one of those floating breeder containers(so he can't get picked on), and he has been out in all his glory every since. What should I do? Can't the anemone sting the angel to protect himself?
