Is Ich on a fish look like little white spots that are raised? like if you were to shine light and watch the fish swim through it could u see little raised bumps?

How long should you continue treating Ich after all the white spots are gone?

ich should be treated maybe up to a week after the white spots arent seen anymore. just for safe measures..

once a fish has gotten ich, and from experience, that fish is usually more prone to it..

If ich was present in your main tank, you should remove all fish and QT them for 6 to 8 weeks. Also raise the temp to 82 to 86 degrees in the fishless main. This helps speeds up the life cycle of the parasite so there's a better chance the parasite will die off within 6 to 8 weeks. In the meantime, treat all fish in QT with either cupramine or hypo (1.007-1.009 SG) for 3 to 5 weeks. Hope this helps!
