Anthias losing color?

Anyone have any idea what could be wrong? We feed him 3 times a day and our water conditions are fine. Could it be that there is no male to compete with and no female to impress?

That could be it, but it also can be the lights. Every anthias I've researched supposedly lose their color when they are under bright lights, they prefer darker tanks.
