Bad molt?

My fire shrimp didn't look so good last night half molted. When I woke up this morning it was missing( not too many places in the tank I can't see) and it is still missing? Do they dig under rocks and hide? Could he have been eaten?

What else is In the tank? Maybe we can rule some things out. I know they may hide for a day or 2 after a molt. I'd wait a few and see if it turns up.

I wouldn't suspect anything on that list. If anything it's the yellowtail, but still not likely. what are your parameters? Have you dosed anything lately? Shrimp are highly sensitive to copper that could be the culprit also.

I do dose with kent nano reef calcium and buffering system but still don't see a body or have any ammonia in water. Unless it dug deep under a rock it has completely disappeared.
