Hey there!
We have an approximately 12 inch bamboo shark in one of our 200 gallon tropical tanks at a children's museum I work at. He has previously suffered from a goiter, but I corrected this issue with iodine tablets to the food. Now however, he has exposed genitals that look ravaged. I wasn't working there for a brief break and I think they may have placed another shark in the tank in my absence. If they did share an altercation in the tank, would that be the cause of such an issue? Please let me know if you have heard of this happening to other shark species in captivity. I'm very worried for the little guy and unfortunately I have limited experience yet. Thanks so much!!
