Black line disease ??

I picked up a devil's hand a few weeks ago and someone told me to watch out for "black line disease".... I've noticed that some of the fingers looked "scarred".... there are sections that looked recessed on the fingers.... just wondering if this is a problem or normal.......

That would have been me. If BLD, it would be an unmistakable black blotch on the corals flesh. Recessions or other marking can easily be the result of coral warfare which is most often the case or passerby animal damage.
