Black Longspine Urchin

Hi I have a black long spine sea urchin who is losing his spines
He has been losing them for a while now do they grow back ? Is he dieing ? Should I remove him from my tank ?

It is either being picked on or its health is compromised somehow. Healthy urchins don't bald unless spines are physically broken. Water params?

Something is deffinately not right and my guess is water params. Urchins will grow their spines back once you get the problem solved.
