bristle worms in wellso skeleton

I picked up a wellso brain a few days ago.when I got it home and it deflated I noticed 2 spots showing skeleton and last night noticed a bristle worm in there. I have been very paranoid about this coral after noticing the skeleton and now even moreso that I see the worms in it. Are they just cleaning it up or harming it? Thanks

More then likely cleaning it up if it had some decay on it. I have only ever seen them go after things that were dead

I hope your right . Really don't want to lose this coral
