BTA dying?

i just got this bubble tip about 2 or 3 weeks ago, and it moved around a little bit, which i thought was normal, and now he has found a spot right under a MH light. i thought this was ok since they require strong lighting. so at night and before the lights come on it seems fine, but once the MH's come on it shrivels up and looks like its dead. but the next morning the clowns are all in it and it looks better. anyone know why this is happening?

He is geting acclimated to the light. He will do this for several more days, and may even move under a rock to poke out a little at a time until he is fully ready to take in the light.

My guy was like this for a few weeks, until he finally opened up and spread out.
