So I just got in a nice order from Blue Zoo, they had rose btas on sale for like 75% off.. anyway the order looks great, mostly coral, but my bubble coral doesn't look great...

It looks like part of the skeleton broke off and it is mostly retracted inside, showing a lot of skeleton. I am hoping it looks better in the AM. I haven't kept this coral before, any advice?

Bubble corals are very hardy.

Put him under a shadowy spot at first and it should recover.

They like moderate flow and fairly low lighting. They can be finicky on placement. Had a green bubble that I moved around for 6 months before I found a place where he took off.

Actually just woke up (I work nights) to find it opened up nicely. Thanks for the help guys.

I have it all they way on the side of my tank on the sand bed.

This is mine after 15 yrs. They are very hardy and need medium lighting. I have never fed mine as they get all they need from the lighting and water column.
