I recently changed from regular flourescent lighting to compact pc lighting for my fish and soft coral tank. The button polyps, which had always done fine, have been closed since a few days after changing the lighting. Everything else seems to have done better.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Did you aclimaye them to the new lighting?

They will probably be ok, just give them a while to adjust to the new lighting. Maybe you could move them to the bottom for a day or to and slowly raise them up into the tank.

yeah don't wory; polyps just need to adjust to the light.
