Can you see ich in a tank? Not talking about on the fish, but on the tank sides and such.

Thanks.

There are also these little, almost microscopic whit bugs/larvae on the glass of the tank, that if you look close you can see move. What is this??

worms? i don't know about seeing ich when it isn't on fish or plants. hopefully someone else can respond!

do a search on "white worms" in the forum and you will come up with some good stuff that may help. make sure and select the radio box that says "search all terms". here is one with some info. http://www.aquariumadvice.com/viewto...ht=white+worms

Its not ich, it definately little worms. I have them all the time. Ich is too small to see except when its on the fish and actually the white spots are pus filled pits excreted by the fish as a defense.

Thanks rev, you have a nice looking family as well, saw your pics.
My (limited) knowledge just comes from reading and more reading . Then I just apply it to what I see in my system and my trial are errors . Kinda learning as I go.
Pretty much the same as what you are doing.

Thank You!
Ya I think about what I have been through since I started about 2 1/2 months ago, how much money I have spent, and the time involved, and I wonder would I do it all again.......................YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT!!

I'm ready for my 125g tank now. The only thing holding me back right now, is my wallet!

Just to throw a wrench into it are they spirals with an open end or smooth and rounded/teardrop shaped?

Cheers
