Two my candycane polyps have died and it seems to be a clam our muscle of some sort has attached itself to the candycane and I believe that it may be killing it. And the polyp on the right you'll see a dark spot which appears to be another clam that has borrowed down into the skeletal portion of the polyp. Thanks in advance for any advice not sure what to do now.

I would frag off the healthy looking parts and hope for the best.
