Can't get lion to eat

I have tried clam, jumbo sticks, krill. I got him on 4 days ago. He looks interested in the food, but he just doesn't go after it. Any tricks to try? I don't want to use live food. Hate to introduce some parasite into the tank. Help!!!!

Also might try adding garlic extreme to the food you try and feed him...soak his food in it..worth a try

Many stores feed their lionfish live feeder fish, so you kind of have to ween them off this habit.

Every new fish I have owned doesn't really eat much for the first few days. It takes them time to settle down and get used to feeding in your tank. My tang went about a week or so before he ate anything... now he is a horse like the rest.
