I am sill very new to this but it could be:
Lymphocystis (Lymph, viral): Lymphocystis, Viral Disease
Symptoms: White to gray clumpy, cauliflower-like appearing bunches most often on unpaired fin membranes. Expresses itself most often in stressed individuals, poor environments.
Treatments:Pulling off large/r masses seems to trigger the host immune system. Improved water quality, nutrition. Possibly the addition of a purposeful cleaner organism.

Here is a good website on clownfish diseases:

If that is what your guy has it will clear up with time and good water quality. While I was researching mine I found that it could be that or clownfish disease. I decided it wasn't clownfish disease because with that they give your fish 1 day to live without treatment and I still have him. It cleared up in a month or so and only left a little scar. It can reoccur if they are stressed or in poor water conditions. It will never be gone since it is a virus.
