Cbs quick death

Hi all, I just recently lost my coral banded shrimp, and don't know what went wrong? About a week ago he had molted healthily. All my water params are normal. Could have the live rock been the culprit of his death? Or cuz I bought a 10watt heater (marineland) yesterday and added that to the tank. By the way my tank has been up and running for about two months and cycled previous. Any ideas all are welcome and appreciated.

Not sure, I have to buy a new thermometer since I broke it on the floor taking it to bathroom to clean it. However, the brand of the thermo is a marineland it's an automatic set one for 78 degrees. Tomorrow I will take out my freshwater therm. Tomorrow and report back what it reads

Nope he was fully intact. Sitting on the side of the rock. And he was a tankmate with clowns, but they never bothered eachother. I did a ten percent water change that day...so idk what happened?

the heater installation and the death of the shrimp are most likely a coincidence.

Thank you mr. X i think what happened was when I did my water change, the salinity maybe rose to fast for him. And maybe I didn't get the water in there fast enough.
