We added a cleaner shrimp to our 10G 2 days ago. He was happily exploring and finding his cleaning station, getting friendly with the tank's chromis ( the only fish). This morning he seemed fine and then in a matter of hours I found his laying on his back on the bottom. Any insights?
my thoughts: I did a PWC last night and SG is 1.024.
I hear this shrimp is very sensitive to water quality. The chromis and inverts were added 5 days ago, so maybe there's been a nitrate spike? Unfortunately I don't have a test kit, but maybe you can spot an obvious error in what I did.
