had 1 clown
about 60 watts of lighting

and my water tested at...
Temp.=80
nitrate=10
Nitrite = 0

Ammonia=less than .25

Does anyone Know what could of caused my favorite fish to die?

How did you acclimate the fish to the new tank? Did you just toss him in? How old is the tank. With amm present is it still in the cycle?

What has been your process for setting up the 75g tank and what is in that tank now? Sounds possibly that the 75g was not ready for fish yet

Were you trying to cycle with the clown. It is possible it just couldn't take it, look at the articles for the fishless cycle.

What was the PH difference between the 2 tanks. PH shock can kill very fast.
