Hi this is Johns girlfriend, John is currently freaking out right now because he just bought a pair of clownfish ( oss) and one of them were sucked into his power head :( Now he is worried that the female will die because her mate just died.. We just got them today so we have no clue what to do. HELP

Katie

Sorry to hear about that. the first you are going to want to do is cover your powerhead intakes. This will prevent something like this from happening again. The female should be okay. Just make sure she continues to eat.

Sorry about your loss.... You can purchase a sponge to cover your PH intake. If you can't find a size that will fit snug you can add a rubberband or plastic tie to keep it in place.. this will prevent another loss.

BTW, Your other clown fish will not grieve itself to death

Hey guys thanks soo much.. Our female is fine swimming around happily.. we changed the sponge to a safer one... And we picked up a Foxed face and on thursday when the new shipment of clowns are ready we are goign to pick up a boyfriend
