Clownfish

Is it just me or are clownfish really hard to keep. I have had three and they all have died, i am wondering if i should try again or not?

clownfish are actually some of the fish that are recommended for beginners. I think you should try again.

How long has your tank been set up ? Do you have live rock for Biological filtration or a mechanical filter or both?

Its been set up for 2 months now and i do have live rock and a filter.

We need some more tank information. What are the water parameters? What other fish do you have? How big is your tank?

A question like the one you asked is difficult to answer without knowing all about your tank. My answer to you without knowing your tank would be for you to find out what is either wrong with your tank, your acclimation methods, or your fish compatability. Clownfish are pretty darn hardy.

Maybe your clown got the clown fish disease, do they have any symtoms before they died? Like white grey film on their skin? BTW what clown fish do you keep? You keep 3 of them in a tank, don't tell me its maroon instead of percular?
