Hello all,
Just recently my Oscellaris clownfish has begun nipping at my Crocea clam. The clam will extend its mantle, and then the clown comes over and nips it, which causes an immediate withdrawl of the mantle. I cant see any wounds on the clam, so I have no idea what the fish is doing?
Any ideas? The fish just waits around to nip. The clam doesnt look sick and is extremely jittery with changes in light and touch. Ive had both clam and clown for months now together.

Most likely you`ll need to make a choice. I dont see a change coming. Maybe your LFS can make a trade with another clown.

Well I tried feeding the clowns to see that would help, and sure enough, they have left him alone since. Maybe they were just trying to bully me into feeding. ( I feed every other day).
