Clownfish has ick

So my the new clownfish I got yesterday has ick, I can see white dots all over his body. So currently I took out all the inverts, rocks and as much sand as possible, and also took some water out. I turned off the filter and turned on my air pump, also I am dripping brackish water into the tank now. Am I doing it right?

No, remove the fish and treat it in a qt with an ich medication. And leave the display fallow for 10-12 weeks.

If you are attempting taking your display into hypo salinity (not recommended) you need to use a refractometer to measure salinity. It's not as simple as just adding brackish water. I replied on your other thread but I also think a copper med is going to be easier and more effective...
