Hey everyone! I just noticed tonight that both of my clowns appear to be losing small parts of their white stripes near their head. They are eating and as far as I can tell acting normally aside from one breathing heavy. H2O parameters are as follows:

PH: 8.4
Alk in normal range
Ammonia 0
Nitrate 0
Nitrite 0

Just did a PWC on Sunday night. The best photos I could get are attached. I figured this is something I should be concerned with, any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Just wanted to update this post. It may sound crazy but I got up today and the stripes on both clown seem to be back to normal. I put some selcon in the tank last night before going to bed, don't know if that helped anything.

I have a tomato clown that is over 11 yrs old and various times during his life he`ll have that problem but it seems to go away and look OK.

Ok thanks! I won't freak out so prematurely next time!
