Hi Everyone,

I'm writing this in a last ditch attempt to try to figure out what could be wrong with one of my clownfish.

Background: tank has been established for 10 years, it is 36 gallons with live rock, inverts, and the ONLY fish in it are a pair of clownfish. I've had these fish for years. I haven't added any fish, coral, or rock in over a year. I've checked the water parameters and they're good.

About a month ago I did a water change and one of the clownfish stopped eating. He hasn't eaten since. He will go up to food, mouth it, and spit it out. He is becoming rail thin, I can see his bones. He has NO other outward signs of disease as far as I can tell. It is heartbreaking. I've had these fish for years and they are our pets.

The other clownfish is absolutely thriving, eating very well, etc.

I have tried changing food but nothing seems to help.

It is really sad watching this fish waste away for no apparent reason. If anyone has advice on treatment, I'd be very grateful.

Sounds like 'wasting disease' ?

Levamisole HCI or Fenbendazole are what you want .
If it is 'wasting disease'then it is an internal worm and other fish are at risk ?
