I have a tang, and i've had him for about....3-4 weeks now...he is with a Valentini Puffer, 2 Clowns, Mandarin Goby.....and thats it fish-wise...there is about....100-110 Pounds of LR in the tank now. And I just started to notice my Coal tang is getting a little lighter, and i'm not sure if he is sick, or whats happening. Anyone know?

Its kole tang are you feeding him nori, and herbivorus prepared algae foods? If not this is why hes fading, and it could lead to Head and lateral line erosion.

Yep, I got all that down pat....I just dunno whats up with him, he looks 100% ok now, his colors change alot... very strange

He could be like discus. I swear they change based upon mood every 30 seconds. They almost blind me when they're eating.

If its a juvenile, the bright yellow will fade to a dull brown as he matures.
