I thought my Coco worm was dead until it stuck its ALIEN-LOOKING BODY OUT!!! Plus...the tank is getting cloudy. I did a water change and that's helped but could Coco be funking my tank up...will he grow his crowns back??? OMG...This is awful! N

It should grow back, but takes a while. Happened to mine a while back. My fish guy said they do that sometimes.

Coco Worm in a "Better Place"

My Coco worm was found dead in his tube this afternoon. It's for the best....he looked awful :-(( Makes me sad... I've had him for 6 months (as long as I've been doing this). Now, there's a nice looking bacterial? Bloom going on in the tank...it's cloudy ( almost smokey ). Does anyone know what's going on here and what to do about it??? :-((

Sorry for your loss. Smokey water doesn't sound good at all! This could be why he lost his crown and subsequently died. Best to find the cause of this ASAP, before you have any more losses. Good luck!
