Aquarium Advice Freak
I have a colony polyp.
Had it about a week now.
It doesn't seem to open up fully.
Most of the polyps will fully open but there are still a bunch that won't .
For the first couple days I had it on the sand to acclimate it to my lights and moved it up to the top 1/3 of the tank last night.
One thing I did notice a couple days ago, when I turned on the tank light , there were little "bugs" scurrying for cover in between the polyps on the rock .
Tank parameters are good. Nitrate 0, phos 0, calcium is a bit high( 500ish), temp 77.
I have been adding marine snow to the tank 2xweek.
