coral banded shrimp shed skin ?

so i look into my tank and see what i thought was my coral naded shrimp dead and hollow. with color and everything. so i removed the carcass to see the real coral banded shrimp where he usualy is ? do they normaly shed thier exoskeleton ?

wow thats cool. i had no idea i looked in the tank and thought awe man there goes 20 bux again . then haha thought it came back from the dead i did a triple take

They're normally pretty shy for a few days after a shed, so it's easy to think that they kicked the bucket when you find an shed and don't see them around.
