I just returned from a weeks vacation and left the tank in
mom's care. I have a toadstool that will not do its thing and
I have had it over a month now. Should I just remove it, I
am afraid it is contaminating my tank, but everyone is ok.
The parameters are ok at 1.025, ph 8.5 a little high, nitrates
between 5-10, trace of phosphates, temp stable between 77-78.
I don't know what to do about him. My colt coral has dropped a
branch as well. Any ideas? Toadie: should have bloomed by now???

T5, medium flow, 36 gal tank. I just cannot figure out
why it won't bloom. I do regular weekly water changes
10%, sometimes 25%. They look so pretty in pics I have
seen. He looks dry or ashy around his edges. Snails and
crabs walk on him. He looks a little bumpy now.
