Crab Kabob anyone?

While I was looking over my tank today, deciding wheather or not to vacuum I saw something odd in one of my caves. I saw a black claw reached out. I knew I had a rock crab from moltings, but this was the first time I had seen him. By the looks of it he was waiting for lunch to pass by. I lured him out with some shrimp and then got him with a scewer, not the most humane way to remove him but he had to go.

Could have caught him and traded it to the LFS for a few reef hermits, or just given it to them. This hobby involves keeping life, not taking it. Poor crab

What's wrong with keeping him? Wouldn't he be a good scavenger.

That one in the picture is a carnivore, would eventually start taking out fish.
Many LFS will take unwanted inverts. Took my mantis to my LFS, now he has his own nano right up in the counter.
I agree with Lando. Better ways to handle it.
