cupramine for white spot

ok im treating whitepspot now with cupramine and have been for three days. My QT is overstocked so the ammonia is up and down, but the copper is stable at 0.5 My question is why is it not working . My Coral Beauty looks worse my blue tang now looks shocking but my other fish look ok. my big tank is empty for 6 weeks to kill the parasite also. Di i remove the copper from the QT before the six weeks , or what. I tried Malachite Green last week and this product does definately not work for whitespot.

It may take a few days. As long as the level is kept at .5 it will work.
I believe the treatment runs for either 14 or 21 days. It should say on the bottle.
