on my gulf base rock i have numerous red spots
thinking they are coraline algae
since i got these rocks in the dry rocks aisle at my lfs

would you out there think it is dead?
can the coraline grow back?
how long would it take to see some results
what can i do / use to help it grow faster?
thanks all

If it's dry base rock, its dead and won't come back. All you need to seed your tank is 1 piece of live rock, with good calcium levels and lighting you'll see spotting on your base in a month or two.
