Hi everyone,
Just picked up a tuxedo urchin today. It looked great in the store, it was covered in rocks and shells just like it should be. When i took him out of the bag, i noticed there was a brown/red spot on the side of it where no spines grow. Since he looked good in the store, i acclimated him for a few hours and placed him in my tank. Hes been cruising for a while and looks great except for the brown spot.
Anyone have any idea if this is a bad thing? Maybe its an injury of some sort? Ill keep an eye on him, but he isnt losing any spines and is pretty active.
