I keep finding red hermit legs scattered throughout my tank. I actually found a live crab that is missing all of his legs on one side. Do they grow back, or do I now own a handicap hermit? I have it in a floating QT, but am wondering if I'm wasting my time. Any thoughts?

They should grow back with the next molt or two.

What is the time frame for molting? Should I be concerned about placing it in the tank with the other hermits, or should I leave it in isolation? Is there any additive that helps with the molting process?

I agree PWCs, iodine/iodide help in molting (and should be replenished when you do a PWC via your salt mix). Forcing them to molt is the same thing as forcing a fish or anyother living thing to grow...kinda tough, let nature take it's path.
